Facebook

With Facebook growing by the minute, there’s no question that it must be a part of your marketing mix. To set up your Facebook marketing foundation, however, it’s essential to create a Facebook marketing plan or strategy. Think of your strategy as a road map — the directions you need to create a thriving, active, loyal community on Facebook.

The strategy behind a Facebook marketing plan doesn’t need to be complicated, but it does need to be carefully thought out. When it comes to growing a brand on Facebook, business owners and marketers commonly become stuck, often because they overcomplicate things.

Define your Facebook marketing goals

As you think about crafting your Facebook marketing plan, understand what Facebook can do for your business. Consider these six Facebook marketing goals as you craft your new plan:

  • Increasing overall exposurem your Facebook marketing plan. One of the first steps when creating your marketing plan and determining your goals is to decide on a social media budget. You’ve likely heard that social media marketing is free. Well, we’re sorry to break it to you here, but that’s not exactly the case. It can be free, but in some areas, consider spending a little money to take your campaign to a profession
  • Building brand awareness
  • Creating a loyal, engaged community
  • Listening to your clients’ needs, interests, and feedback
  • Monitoring what people are saying about your brand
  • Driving action (often in the form of sales of your products or services)

These six core goals will help you shape the specific outcomes you want to achieve fro

al level. Here are three areas where you should consider spending a little money:

Branding: It is recommended that you hire a designer to create a look and feel for all your social media profiles. All your profiles should be consistent across channels and match your branding as much as possible. Finding a designer for this task is affordable and quick.

Social media consulting: It is usually recommended that entrepreneurs and businesses that are new in the social media arena spend a little money educating themselves. Although it isn’t recommended that you run out and hire someone to take over your social media activity, it is recommended that you consult a social media expert for a review of your strategy to gain feedback on and insight into your plan

Facebook Ads: The third area you may want to consider budgeting for is Facebook Ads.

And is it any different to any other social network? Well, as you will see in this video guide, it is very different indeed but you may need to let go of what you are expecting

Google+ is something different. It is bringing people together within the context of many of Google’s services. It is, quite simply, something to be experienced for yourself.

YouTube

Gone are the days when YouTube was exclusively a place for one-hit, user-generated viral videos. If you’re serious about building a successful marketing campaign on YouTube, you have to consider your channel’s long-term plan.

Are you there to educate or entertain? Are you looking to increase subscribers or attract new visitors to your website?

YouTube recently changed its algorithm.

Now it gives videos and channels that retain viewers throughout an entire video more visibility in its search results and discovery.

Don’t be discouraged if you have never produced a video. You don’t need an Oscar to maximize watch-time on your videos. All you need are simple video production techniques that include effective editing, quality production, and an engaging video structure.

The key to a successful marketing campaign, even on YouTube, is creating clear and concise calls to action. Depending on the message, you can use the beginning, middle, or end of a video to direct the actions of your viewers.

Having too many prompts can cause confusion, so keep your CTAs minimal and simple. The goal is to make it as easy as possible for viewers to perform an action.

Consistently updating your channel with content will keep your channel feed active, increase your presence on YouTube, and help you build an audience. You should aim for a minimum of one video per week, but the right amount of content depends on your audience, your goals, and your content.

One simple way to create a steady stream of content is to produce shorter versions of long-form content. Build a theme around a topic and then post bite-size versions of the theme on a weekly basis. This will keep your audience engaged and coming back for more.

You’ve spent hours planning, producing, and editing just the right content for your YouTube audience. Now it’s time to grab some popcorn and watch the views roll in (Gangnam style), right? Not quite.

Remember, over 72 hours of footage is uploaded every minute on YouTube. While creating an engaging video is crucial to your success, it’s only half of the equation.

To give your videos and channel the best possible chance for success, you’ve got to optimize them.

Instagram

IncubatorMore and more businesses are turning to Instagram to reach younger demographics.
If you plan to adopt a similar strategy, you’ll want to take a look at the following Instagram marketing tips and tricks for getting the most out of your presence on the site.

Instagram versus Facebook:

– Instagram hasn’t been around for four years yet. Facebook garnered 2.5 million brand posts, a year-over-growth of 22 percent.

– Instagram had 493,000 of such posts, a 49 percent year-over-year jump. Facebook accrued 6 billion actions (likes, comments or shares).

– Instagram totaled 3.4 billion actions (likes, comments). Facebook had 2,396 actions per post.

– Instagram racked up 6,932 actions per post.

There is a trio of obvious takeaways from the findings.

First, Instagram got 56 percent as many total actions on the platform as Facebook during Q2. And, brand activity is growing much faster on Instagram than Facebook—which isn’t necessarily surprising since the former is much newer to the marketing world than the latter. But what should raise eyebrows is that Instagram is achieving three times the engagement per post when compared to Facebook.

What all of this means to the future of Instagram paid advertising isn’t clear. BUT Marketers are optimistic about Instagram’s future ad monetization potential. One unknown will be whether Instagram can find ways to effectively drive traffic to advertiser sites without detracting from its own traffic and engagement—and the willingness of advertisers to invest in Instagram without this outbound linking.

Pinterest

Pins and repins bring attention to your company and products in an organic way. Most pins are the result of a consumer saving an image while browsing your site.

We will provide the optimization tips help you make it easier for visitors to pin your content, which can lead to an increased number of pins, more traffic and more sales. When your audience pins your images, they are essentially telling you which of your products matter to them and which image they think best represents that product. As a result, popular and trending images on Pinterest have become a reliable way to predict which creative assets will drive the most engagement on your site.

To gain confidence and loyalty you should neatly build your following on Pinterest. First of all, you have to create a good-looking account. It doesn’t matter if you activate the profile with your own name or with your company brand. But remember, people are more inclined to believe and follow individuals, not so much for companies, unless they are very popular and well-known brands.

The whole Pinterest Universe is based on the content that people share. Despite the millions of images being pinned now, it’s not difficult to get your photos noticed and repinned. Just showcase things that might be interesting and the network’s simple system and user-friendly interface will help drive traffic and to your page. Remember, people on Pinterest like looking for creative things and enjoy the process of finding and discovering new images.

Let’s take advantage of all this and make Pinterest work for your business. Happy Pinning!
